This beautiful 1970 split bumper Camaro is finished in hugger orange with black stripes, an amazing combo. This Camaro is powered by a 350 cubic inch V8 paired to a 4-speed manual transmission that produces 360 horsepower! Compared to the 1969 Camaro, the cowl height was about an inch lower, the windshield was more rakish, the passenger compartment was moved further back, the doors were longer, the quarter windows were gone, and a fastback roofline was employed. The same wheelbase was retained, but the car was now two inches longer, slightly broader and lower, and had a wider track. A taller driveshaft tunnel allowed additional travel for the multi-leaf rear suspension with staggered shocks. Single-piston caliper front disc brakes with 11-inch rotors became standard, and 9.5-inch drums remained in the rear. For 1970, the Z28 Special Performance Package added $572.95 to the $2,839 base price of the V-8 Camaro and came with a black grille; Z28 emblems; one-piece rear spoiler; wide hood, deck lid, and rear spoiler stripes; bumper guards; chromed tailpipe ends; heavy-duty radiator; Turbo- Fire 350-cu.in. engine; F41 special performance suspension with large front and rear anti-roll bars, revised spring rates, and more; 15 x 7-inch steel five-spoke wheels; and F60-15 raised-white-letter tires. Considering the short production year, 8,733 Z28s were sold making this car rare because of its immaculate condition inside and out!
