Windows, locks, trunk release, cruise control, air conditioning, leather seats, fog lights, traction control and the MACH 460 sound system with CD and cassete player. In 1998 Ford's Special Vehicle Team offered the Mustang SVT Cobra. Most of the team's work focused on modifying the 4.6L V-8 engine, giving the pony some serious performance bite. The team dialed things up for the powerplant to deliver 305 HP and 300 lb-ft of torque. Improving the suspension and getting that power to the ground was also a priority, and as such, the Cobra featured a modified MacPherson strut type suspension up front with a separate spring on the lower arm and a 29mm stabilizer bar. The rear was equipped with a rigid axle, upper and lower trailing arms and a 27mm stabilizer bar. To rein in the power, the PBR twin-piston caliper brakes with 13-inch vented discs were installed up front while the rear used 11.65-inch vented discs and a single-piston caliper.
