“Electric Blue”
The second generation of the Grand Prix by Pontiac was built from 1969 through 1972 and was under the control of John Z Delorean at the time. The biggest change was not the fact that the styling was different, it was the size of the car. It entered a brand new market segment when its size decreased. The Grand Prix was now competing with the Cougar pony car and the Dodge Charger. The car had subtle styling changes throughout its few years of production but things stayed largely the same. This particular Grand Prix is a driver quality example that starts, runs, brakes and goes down the road as it should. It is definitely a color change at some point and not sure how old the paint is but it sure shines nicely with the exception of a couple small surface rust bubbles at the leading edge of the top of the hood. It is a factory A/C car and the interior appears to be original with the exception of a couple after market gauges. Unfortunately we do not have a ton of information on this car as the owner has passed away and we are selling it on behalf of his widow. This is a excellent opportunity to get in to the collector car world under $20,000. You can get in and enjoy now. Please call with any questions.
