GR Auto Gallery is excited to offer this outstanding, premium quality, 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS for consideration. The car is powered by its 350 CID / 360 HP V8 engine, power transferred via its Keisler Engineering 5-speed transmission, and applied by its 12 bolt posi-traction rear end. Options include: Power steering, power brakes, factory AC, bucket seats, console shift, hurst shifter, ss trim package, 4 barrel carb, aluminum intake, aluminum valve covers, functional cowl hood, tilt steering wheel, 5-spoke factory rally wheels, front disc brakes, front and rear sway bars, interior trim decor, 120mph speedometer, factory tach and gauges, factory radio, 3-spoke SS steering wheel, dual exhaust, etc.
This El Camino was built at the Van Nuys, CA plant and, according to the documentation on hand, was originally delivered to Lindy Chevrolet in Arcadia, CA. The El Camino remained in California until it was acquired by its restorative owner as a “rust free' non problematic vehicle. Since, it has been the recipient of a high quality, no expense spared, frame off, nut and bolt restoration. The restoration was executed with extreme attention to detail coupled with desired performance and drivability upgrades. The restoration process has been fully documented and retained with 5 binders of information that documents the condition of the car prior to the restoration process, detailed research on factory correct and upgraded parts, and the execution of the entire restoration and build process.
Today, as a result, the presentation of this El Camino SS is amazing. The car is finished in its factory original Fathom Blue Metallic exterior paint with White SS stripes over black interior. The car exhibits excellent panel fitment while retaining its factory sheet metal. The paint is smooth, deep and glossy. The Interior is fully restored and correct, under the hood is highly detailed and the frame and underbody is outstanding. In short, this is one of the best, if not the best, El Camino that has graced the floor at the GR Auto Gallery. Mechanically, the car is excellent in all areas; an excellent driver.
When it comes to investing in cars, quality is everything. The El Camino here a high quality restoration performed on a high quality original car. It is not numbers matching, but executed with huge attention to detail of factory specifications sprinkled with desirable upgrades; all of which has been painstakingly documented.

Big block power with 565 cubic inches of displacement and lots of friends, this car is wild. Opening on the sight of six American muscle car masterpieces, 1320 seemingly has their work cut out for them in the information department. That's because the collection features such icons as a bright red Chevrolet Bel Air, a yellow Camaro, and what looks like a lifted Chevrolet K10. In fact, the owner seems to have a mighty strong affection for GM and Chevrolet automobiles. On top of all that, there i read more
