Description

Roadster Shop Built Chevelle Restomod 635hp 7.0L LS V8 6-speed Leather A/C ///

A full custom build by the Roadster Shop in Mundelein, Illinois, this fully custom 1970 Chevelle is the brainchild of a dedicated car enthusiast in pursuit of the baddest Chevelle on street. The search came to an end when he commissioned Roadster Shop to begin their magic. “They are building the most innovative and highest performance muscle cars around by far. I didn't even call another shop.” There is no improvement to be had for the lines of a 1970 Chevelle, so the goal was to simply make it low, menacing, and a force to be reckoned with

Roadster Shop's Fast Track chassis resides underneath and is a stout unit to say the least and is highly regarded as the best performance chassis money can buy.
Braking is supplied by a set of Wilwood 13-inch discs, six-piston calipers in front and 12-inch, four-caliper units in the rear. The tires and wheels are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, 305/30 and 345/30, on Lexani forged 19x10 & 20x13.

In the matter of acceleration, a 427-cubic-inch LS3 from Turn Key Engine Supply was selected.
RS fabricated exhaust with stainless-coated 1 7/8-inch primaries plumbed into 3-inch stainless steel pipes and Borla XR-1 mufflers. The exhaust terminates at the center-exit in the custom-built bumper. Cooling is handled by a Ron Davis aluminum radiator and Vintage Air HVAC system. To contain the output of the 7.0-liter engine, a complete Centerforce system—flywheel, Dual Friction 10.5-inch discs, and pressure plate—and a Tremec T-56 Magnum stuck to a Quick Time bellhousing were chosen. An estimated 635 hp and 580 lb-ft of torque ends up at the Strange Engineering 9-inch, which was fitted with a Truetrac differential and 3.90:1 gears.

Inside, the fully custom approach continues with modern styled bucket seats, a sleek, fluid console; and a rear bench seat that matches the fronts—all of it swathed in leather.
The smooth profile is draped in PPG Audi Lava Gray anointed with offset ghost graphics.
