Plymouth's "Rapid Transit System" featured the duster 340 as its entry level muscle car.

With a pavement pounding 275 advertised horsepower, combined with its light weight and low price ($2547 base) the duster 340 was an instant hit. It was, in fact, lighter, roomier and faster that a 'Cuda 340.

In 1970 right out of the box performance claims of 14 second quarter mile times enhanced its "go fast" image as well. Many experts claimed the 275 advertised horsepower was actually close to 325. What better way to get the blood pumping than with a high revving small block 4-speed muscle car?

This absolutely stunning example received a recent rotisserie restoration to stock specifications.
